“ I ended up coming here In search of BBQ pork since the shop inside Great Wall supermarket is undergoing renovations. The grocery store has all the typical Asian vegetables and condiments. But the restaurant area was amazing! We only grab the pork this time but definitely will come back to try all the other dishes since they smell amazing! Service is quick so you definitely can come in and out relatively quickly. ”
“ 10/15/22 The former Shoppers Food Warehouse to the Magruder's grocery store to the now New York Market. This store is a Asian themed market. Like several asian themed markets I have visited, the smell of seafood hits your nostrils as you step I side the store. This time around, I could smell the seafood before entering the building. While the stink was offense, I forgot about it fairly quickly as I moved through the store. The look of Shopper's Food and Magruder's has changed. Things were well organized from what I saw. Prices were labeled well. The place looked clear than Magruder's and Shopper's Food Warehouse. The restaurant section looked the best, because I forgot about the fish smell. Today I was just looking to see what is offered here. Next week I might just buy something. Next week I will see how the staff interact with me. This could be the difference maker. ”
“ This is a review for the new Hong Kong Style BBQ stall in the food court of NY Mart. They opened recently and I've gotten food from them 3 days in a row. It's that good. Much better than what they've got at Great Wall and 99 Ranch. They roast half a pig each day of the weekday. They roast a whole pig each day of the weekend. They do sell out fast so if you go after the "lunch hour" you may miss it. I've had the ginger/scallion chicken, roast pig, roast pork, roast duck, soy braised pig knuckles and soy braised duck wings. All of it has been very good. Flavorful. Not overly salty. The owners that run this stall have a history of running a restaurant known for their barbecue meats as well as Dim Sum. I'm hoping they'll introduce some of their Dim Sum to this food stall at NY Mart! ”
